![]() The biggest threat to the combo is killing the ghosts too quickly, it will kill of your combo. ![]() You also need good survivability if you want to do this as it will provide more movement options and therefor easier to keep up with the combo, which is why Mithril Golem is almost required to do this, as it gives good survivability and massive damage increase. This is to make sure you don't kill all the ghosts too early and lose your combo. Some things that makes this efficient is by killing Ghosts on the sides as they will most likely be the last Ghosts you kill before the next spawn of Ghosts, then you walk back to the pile of Ghosts that just created and kill almost all of them, when there is just one or 2 left you wait until you see or think more Ghosts spawn and kill the ones you saved. To be able to do this and also kill all ghosts every cycle you need to be able to at least 2 shot Ghosts with your whip. If you do the combo will end as there are no ghosts to kill. You do this by making sure you don't kill all the Ghosts too quickly. This strategy is all about managing Ghost kills to continue the combo feature that was recently added to the game. This is probably the hardest strategy, but technically the most profitable. 15 magic find is good but the survivability and attack boost that the Mithril Golem provides is too convenient and will more than make up for the 15 magic find lost. Black Cat is the other contender as it gives 15 magic find at lvl 100. I find that the Legendary Mithril Golem is the best pet at most circumstances if you don't want to level up pets for selling. People argue which pet is the best for grinding ghosts, it kind of depends. If you haven't killed all the Ghosts before you see more of them spawn, don't worry, its the next spawn of Ghosts that you have to kill all the the Ghosts that didn't just spawn from the new spawn of ghosts. There are 2 different spawn cycles that are independent on each other wherever you grind Ghosts. If you can do that you have almost maximized your earnings. All ghosts are set to spawn on a timer, the goal to most effectively kill all ghosts within these timers. Spawn cycles is also an important thing to know. Just lobby hop until you find an empty lobby to grind in. Just because there is a loot share feature doesn't mean it will get them and you more loot, if someone already can kill every ghost every spawn cycle (more on that later) having a second person will decrease their combat xp intake and it is likely that the share loot feature wont always share the loot due to distance, effectively decreasing the overall earnings. You are probably going to ruin their kill rates and it is a super annoying thing to do. Second thing is that you should ALWAYS leave people alone if you see them grinding Ghosts. There is another good area under Divan's Gateway though it is not as good. ![]() It has the most Ghosts spawning in an open large area, there is a lot of freedom to be had there. The first thing is that the best place for grinding Ghosts is under the Royal Mines. There are some knowledge that needs to be understood before you grind ghosts.
